    Description

This small (approx. 5 3/8 x 7 1/2 inch) 1952 calendar was sent as a holiday gift "compliments of Phliladelphia Athletics".  The cover, which was meant to be detachable, features a print titled "Play To Win" which the inside cover says is "Reproduced in Tintogravure from the Original Oil Painting by Bill Medcalf".  It shows owner/manager Connie Mack "talking to all the bright-eyed, enthusiastic kids in the nation."  The six doubled-sided monthly pages are detached from the cover but intact.  The calendar was copyrighted in 1950 and printed by "Brown & Bigelow, St. Paul, Minn., U.S.A."
The calendar shows some aging and wear, but is clean and unmarked.  See photos for details and condition.
