module creates an advanced oxidation reaction when light energy from the ultraviolet (UV) lamp reacts with oxygen, ozone, a small amount of moisture in the air, and the hydrated Tri-metallic Catalyst. This reaction creates cleansing ions, such as hydroperoxides and superoxide ions, which are mixed with the air.
The treatment of your air includes:

The Replacement Module is intended for use 24 hours a day for a period of one year. After approximately one year, the unit will no longer reduce odors and microbes as efficiently and the Module should be replaced.
