ANTIQUE OPTOMETRIST LENS EQUIPMENT AMERICAN OPTICAL COMPANY. Condition is "Used". See photos for case detail.  I have spoken to a leather shop that says this can be recovered with a nice leather covering.  However i did not want to alter the authentic state.  This is a true collectors item from the estate of a decorated Naval officer Optician early 1900s.  Some lenses are missing as noted in photos. Some silver detected in random sampling.
