    Description

    Estate acquisition.  Antique Soldering Iron stove with soldering Iron.  Surface rust but no rust through.  Hole where iron is inserted for heating is slightly chipped from normal use.  Very few noticeable dents.  Damper on removable lid moves easily.  After close examination we suspect the air intake holes on bottom and sides may have been added by the original owner using a punch (photos 5-7).  Removable suspension plate is on legs inside stove body - again close examination leads one to suspect this was constructed by hand to enhance heating (photos 10-11).  These alterations add to the originality and inventiveness of the owner.  Copper tipped soldering iron is well used.  Well cared for antique/vintage item.  No manufacturer/branding identification.  Base plate is approximately 12" deep X 6" wide X 12" tall.
