Beautiful Colclough 3 Sets of 2 each Square Luncheon Plates Bone China Longton England Floral/Pastel Motif- All in Good Condition, with minor fading and aging, with one exception- one plate of the Blue Set has more browning than the other plates (see pictures).
NOTE- Most of these are no longer Available at Replacements.com, and are the last in stock in this inventory! Am Selling Each by their color coordinated set, so please be clear on what you want after payment is made.
There are 2 Green and 2 Blue Plates. These were likely made around the 1930's, as they have the Art Deco motif of that time. Each plate Has Gold Trim with scalloped corners, are 7.5" in Diameter, and weigh 11 oz.
The Colclough China Company was founded in 1890 by Herbert Joseph Colclough. In 1913, Mr. Colclough was honored by King George V and Queen Mary who gave royal license to produce Royal Vale China. In the 1930's Colclough China was the first to produce bone china for the every day market. In 1996, Colclough production was discontinued.
