    Description

    This set was handmade in Ghana. Richly stylized and crafted with great detail each mask has a presence all it's own.  The bottom part of the carving serves as a base so the mask can stand upright.    The female measures approximately 12 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" at the base. The male measures approximately 15 inches tall and 4 1/4" at it's base. Each mask is solid wood with metallic facade accents.  Oversized eyelids and thin eye slits make the mask appear to be resting but watching you at the same time.  They are very interesting works of art.
