", was written by John R. Coy and Robert C. Del Grosso and published and copyrighted in 1996 by Great Northern Pacific Publications in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The Foreword states, "This publication contains historical to current day information about one-hundred-four place names that have existed or still exist along the Bulringon Northern San Fe main-line from Shelby to Whitefish...There were two purposes for this writing. The first was to unearth all the names of the places that were or are between Shelby and Whitefish. The second was to convey some of the more humorous, unconventional or colorful stories and incidents that have transpired throughout the course of time along the portion of railroad track... The chapters contained within are arranged in the same order as the name places were or are on the map." The book is illustrated with many photographs, drawings, charts and maps.
