Three old, small dolls in Norwegian ~ Swedish ~ Scandinavian folk dress.
Doll number one: The strung arms and legs are quite loose. Measures 5
3/8
inches tall. No maker's mark or label. Possible celluloid.
Doll number two: Strung arms and legs, legs are loose. Legs are oddly formed, sort of twisty. Measures 6
1/4
inches tall. Early plastic. No marks or labels.
Doll number three: This is the oldest of the three and her
bunad
has the most details, with tiny beads for
solje
. Note the early Victorian shape of her feet and shoe style. Strung arms and legs. Significant soiling, age wear, hair has been trimmed by her previous young owner. Measures 5 inches tall.
