I bought a house with a decent-sized shop about a year ago. It was already plumbed for air, but the female air couplings that had been installed needed to be replaced. I was a little hesitant to buy these (after all, you usually get what you pay for). Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised. These are MUCH better quality than what was in my shop. I haven't used them much, but based on the look, feel and action they give when snapping in an air line, I expect they will last awhile.
After a couple months, my guys in the shop are telling me these work for longer and leak less than the more expensive brand we used to buy (Milton). Our shop environment is filthy with abrasive dust. These seem to be holding up better than those others. I will be buying these again, but already I've had to buy quick connects less frequently than I used to.
I bought these to prepare for a pneumatic buildout for my garage barn. The first one actually replaced the receiver on my 30 gallon air pump, which was a quick and easy job. I just put on some thread sealer, took the old coupler off, and put the new coupler on. Perfect fit. No leaks. Looking forward to finishing this project
