    Calendar for 1953
    by T.N.Thompson, pin-up calendar with printed lithographs by the John Baumgarth Company. TN Thomson is a signature used by Jerry Thompson, who was for several years the assistant of famed pin-up illustrator Earl MacPherson. He replaced his employer during his convalescence (polio) at the end of 1951 and offered his first Artist's Sketch Pad for the Shaw-Barton Calendar Company. At the same time, Thompson also created a similar calendar for the John Baumgarth Company of Melrose Park, Illinois.
