    Description

Untitled but referred to by the author as "Track of the CATS" is Terry Ross's compilation of the efforts made to save the Antonito to Chama portion of the D&RGW's San Juan Extension in the 1970 time frame.  Included here are descriptions of the property acquired by the states of Colorado and New Mexico, its prognosis for the future and work accomplished by volunteers.  There are also sections on the line's history as well as letters of support from various entities.  Published by Mr. Ross in 1971 in an issue of around 1,000 copies this is copy #
    704
and is 122 pages in a comb-bound, horizontally-formatted softcover.  He has signed this copy on the copyright page
in celebration of the line’s 50th Anniversary
.  This copy is as good as you will ever find (having seen several others) and is totally undamaged with no markings, no dog-eared pages, no jammed corners, no creases or tears and no cover creases or folds.  The plastic comb binding is undamaged and intact.  Included is an index created by us.  We will also include a folded Ernie Robart map of the line back-to-back with Gordon Chappell's Narrow Gauge over Cumbres.  A very nice copy of a seldom-seen book.  Be sure to see our photo collections at NGTrainPics.PhotoShelter.com.
