This is a vintage Ampeg VT-22 V4 electric bass guitar tube amp head.
The VT-22 was usually a combo amp, but some spare amps were placed into a V4 box - this is one of those rare amps.
Bold, punchy, clear, and ungodly loud.
Set apart from the other amps from its time, the individuality of this amp is shown in the odd-ball tubes, and some extremely versatile frequency-shaping capabilities in its tone stack and unique sensitivity.
Featuring:
4 x 7027A, 3 x 12AX7, 12AU7, GCG7, and a 6K11 tubes.
The serial number is 106853.
It has been fully gone through, thoroughly test/played, and sounds incredible!
There are examples of tolex wear/tear, typical marks/scratches, and the front panel is missing most of its labels - please see all pictures for a better visual description.
